We believe in the power of volunteerism to create meaningful change, equip young people with skills, and bridge the gap between education and employment. Our mantra is simple: #HUMANIZE—putting people first in everything we do.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Enkare Oltau Foundation website and participating in the VVOICE ecosystem (including the podcast and newsletter), you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our digital platforms.

2. Use of Content

All content on this site—including text, the VVOICE logo, and our signature hand-drawn illustrations—is the property of the Enkare Oltau Foundation.

  • Personal Use: you are welcome to share our content to spread the mission, provided you credit the Foundation and do not alter the branding.
  • Prohibited Use: You may not use our materials for commercial purposes without explicit written consent from the Foundation.

3. Community Conduct (#HUMANIZE)

We are a space for authentic expression. Whether you are participating in VVOICE on X Spaces or engaging in events you agree to:

  • Respect all community members regardless of gender, race, or background.
  • Refrain from hate speech, harassment, or the promotion of illegal activities.
  • Act in the spirit of “Heart” (Oltau) and “Water” (Enkare).

4. Donations & Refunds

  • Voluntary Support: All donations made via Paybill, PayPal, or Online Payment are voluntary and non-refundable.
  • Physical Goods: Once items like stationery, clothes, or shoes are donated, they become the property of the Foundation to be distributed according to the needs of the community.
  • Allocation: The Foundation reserves the right to allocate funds to the pillars where the need is most urgent unless a specific program is explicitly sponsored.

5. Volunteer & Contributor Participation

When you sign up as an “Enkarean” volunteer:

  • You acknowledge that volunteering is a non-paid service.
  • You grant the Foundation permission to use your “VVOICE” (quotes or stories) and portraits in our newsletter and marketing, unless you opt out.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Enkare Oltau Foundation provides information and community spaces “as is.” While we strive for excellence, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the website or participation in our digital dialogues.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Kenya.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms to reflect the growth of our movement. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
